Rules & Regulations

1. Management
Callaway ilovegolf Tournament presented by Pendrive (hereinafter refereed as "Tournament") is a tournament organized by MST GOLF Sdn Bhd (MST GOLF). The tournament shall be managed by a Tournament Committee (hereinafter refereed as "Committee") appointed by MST GOLF. The decision of the Committee in all matters related to this Tournament shall be final and conclusive.

2. Venue And Dates
As stated in the brochure with eight (9) legs played around Malaysia.

3. Mode of Play
3.1 The mode of play is Stableford.
3.2 Men shall tee off from blue tee box and ladies from the red tee box, unless otherwise specified by the Committee.
3.3 Players must report to the official starter at least 15 minutes before tee off.

4. Rules
All play shall be in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by the R & A Rules Limited, USGA and local rules of participating clubs as approved by the Committee.

5. Eligibility
5.1 Open to valid ilovegolf members aged 18 years and above who are amateur golfers, and whose amateur status is not revoked by MGA.
5.2 Men shall have an official National Handicap System (NHS) handicap of 24 and below; ladies an official NHS handicap of 36 and below.

6. Entry Requirement and Tournament Fees
6.1 Entries are accepted on “First Come First Served” basis.
6.2 Entry fee is as per stated in the entry form.
6.3 The Committee reserves the right to accept or refuse any entry without assigning any reasons thereof.

7. Closing Date
Closing date is five(5) business days prior to each choosen venue.

8. Draw
The Draw shall be made by the Committee and shall be posted at the Club House on the tournament day. Such posting shall be considered sufficient notice for information and distribution.

9. Slow Play
Referring to Rule 6.7 – Governing Undue Delay. In the interest for fair play, the Committee shall not hesitate to impose penalty specified by the rule. The Marshals shall execute their role to give and record two initial warnings before referring to Committee for the penalty.

10. Inclement Weather
If a stipulated round of golf is not completed due to inclement weather or loss of daylight, the decision to cease or suspend play will be decided by the Committee. The Committee shall decide on the distribution of prizes as a result of this situation.

11. Submission Of Scorecards
All players must submit their scorecards duly signed and counter-signed by his / her marker as soon as possible after the completion of the round. Any undue delay may be caused for action to be taken against the player(s).

12. Tie break
In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided on countback over the last (9) holes on the card, the last (6) holes, the last (3) holes and the last hole in that order.

13. Winners & Prizes
13.1 Prizes:
• "A" Medal top individuals (handicap 18 and below).
• "B" Medal top individuals (handicap 19 and above).
• Nearest to Pin.
• Longest Drive.
• Lucky Draw.
13.2 Prizes are not transferable and / or exchangeable for cash or in kind.

14. Approved Golf Balls & Shoes
The ball the plays must be named on the current conforming golf balls list issued by the USGA and R & A. Only soft spikes are permitted during Tournament.

15. Decisions
The Committee shall have the sole control and management of the Tournament will full powers at any given time to alter and / or vary any of the conditions of the Tournament and its decision shall be final and conclusive.

16. Disputes Any dispute that arises during the Tournament shall be referred to the Committee, as soon as practicable upon completion of the round, and in any event it shall not be later than 15 minutes after the completion of the said round.

17. Amateur Status
Governed by Rule 3-2.a – An amateur golfer must not accept a prize (other than symbolic prize) or prize voucher of retail value in excess of RM3,500 or the equivalent, or such a lesser figure as may be decided by the Governing Body. This limit applies to the total prizes or prize vouchers received by an amateur golfer in any one competition or a series of competitions. The onus of accepting a prize or prizes that exceed the prescribed limits lie with the participant. The Tournament Committee is duty bound to inform the MGA of the details of the winner(s) receiving prizes in excess of the prescribed limits. The organizers, its agents and partners shall not be held liable for any action taken on the winner(s) thereafter.

18. Cancellations
No refund will be issued for cancellations.

19. General Liabilities
MST GOLF, the sponsors, the Committee and the participating clubs are not responsible for any loss, damage or harm, or any form of injury that the player of the Tournament may suffer as a result of his / her participating in this Tournament.
